Discovery Group Tour
Take the Discovery Tour and a knowledgeable guide will walk you through the history, discovery, and geology of Cave of the Winds Mountain Park. You will experience some of the most beautiful formations the cave has to offer.
- Minimum people on the tour: 15
- Maximum people per tour: 20 (larger groups will be split up and will start approximately 5-10 minutes apart)
- If your group is fewer than 15 people the minimum amount due: $315.00 tour only
- If a group of fewer than 15 people has both adults and children, we charge for all adults, add all the children, and then all of the extra spaces would be children’s prices; so the minimum amount due for mixed groups will vary per group.

Group rates apply year-round for all ages for groups with advanced reservations. Groups of 15 or more who come in without a reservation will receive 10% off the regular tour price at the ticket office.

Haunted Lantern Group Tour
For the more adventurous, the Haunted Lantern Tour will take you deeper underground with only your hand held lantern to light the way. You will explore the Manitou Grands with a well-informed guide who will share legends of the cave, folklore, and scary tales of ghosts. This tour is a little more demanding as there will be required extended bending and stooping in places, and is for only the bold of heart.
- Minimum people on the tour: 15
- Maximum people per tour: 20 (larger groups will be split up)
- Maximum total group size: 45 (will be split into at least 3 groups, each group will start approximately 20 minutes apart)
- Rates: If your adult group (Age 13 and Older) is fewer than 15 adults the minimum amount due: $405.00 per group tour only.
- If a group of fewer than 15 people has both adults and children, we charge for all adults, add all the children, and then all of the extra spaces would be children’s prices; so the minimum amount due for mixed groups will vary per group.

Approximately 1 1/2 - 2 Hours
Caving 101 Group Tour
For the most adventurous, the Caving 101 Tour will take you on a unique underground adventure crawling and climbing through the back areas of the cave. You will learn about caving safety and see unique formations not easily accessible by the general public. Everyone will need to bring a headlamp, a pair of gloves, a change of clothes, and an extra pair of shoes. There will be an area provided to clean up after your tour.
- Minimum people on the tour: 15
- Maximum people per tour group: 20 (larger groups will be split up)
- Maximum total group size: 45 (will be split into at least 3 groups)
- Rates: Rates: If your Group (age 13 and older) is fewer than 15 people, the flat rate will be $675.00 per Group Tour only.
