On our most popular tour, you’ll wind your way through nearly a mile of Colorado caverns, including the Majestic Hall, the Bridal Chamber and the Temple of Silence. You’ll duck under Fat Man’s Misery, marvel at geological formations like the Giant’s Bleeding Heart, and experience total cave darkness. Join us on a Discovery Tour to explore the wonders of the underground – at the top of a mountain!

discovery Tour Info

Our educational Discovery Tour is an easy, 45-minute walking tour ideal for beginning cavers and families. Our knowledgeable tour guides will answer questions and discuss cave history and geology as you explore twisting and turning passageways. The Discovery Tour is not recommended for pregnant women or persons who have heart or respiratory problems. Strollers, baby backpacks, and wheelchairs are not allowed on cave tours.

discovery Tour Hours & Prices

Memorial Day Weekend – Labor Day Weekend: Daily from 9 am – 9 pm. Tours leave every 15-30 minutes. Last tour leaves at 8:30 pm. Due to popularity, summer guests may experience a wait of approx. 30-45 minutes between ticket purchase and the start of an available tour.

Winter (September-May): Daily, 10 am-5 pm. Tours leave every 30 minutes. Last tour leaves at 4:30 pm.

Children 5 Years & Under: FREE

 

Special Military Discount

MUST present a valid United States military ID when purchasing tickets with this discount. If you purchase tickets online you will need to present a valid United States military ID at the ticket office before going on the tour. Failure to present a valid United States military ID WILL incur additional charges at the ticket office.
