An Ideal Family Tour

On our most popular tour, you’ll wind your way through nearly a mile of Colorado caverns, including the Majestic Hall, the Bridal Chamber and the Temple of Silence. You’ll duck under Fat Man’s Misery, marvel at geological formations like the Giant’s Bleeding Heart, and experience total cave darkness. Join us on a Discovery Tour to explore the wonders of the underground – at the top of a mountain!

Our educational Discovery Tour is an easy, 45-minute walking tour ideal for beginning cavers and families. Our knowledgeable tour guides will answer questions and discuss cave history and geology as you explore twisting and turning passageways. The Discovery Tour is not recommended for pregnant women or persons with heart or respiratory problems. Front baby carriers are permitted, but, sorry, no strollers or baby backpacks. Also, tours are not accessible by wheelchair.

Memorial Day Weekend-Labor Day Weekend: Daily from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Tours leave every 15-30 minutes. Last tour leaves at 8:30 p.m. In summer, guests may experience a wait of 30-45 minutes between ticket purchase and the start of an available tour.

Winter (September-May): Daily, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tours leave every 30 minutes. Last tour leaves at 4:30 p.m. Tour time will be based on availability at time of arrival.

Military Discount

Early-bat discount!

The Early Bat discount is only available Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, Monday – Friday between 9:00am and 11:00am, and can ONLY be purchased ONLINE.

The early bird may get the worm, but we’ve got a much better deal for visitors who show up ready for fun before 11 a.m. Our Early-Bat discount is just the ticket for you early risers who want to beat the crowd and save a few bucks!
