Wind Walker Challenge Course

Are you up for a challenge?

The Wind Walker Challenge Course is a three-story obstacle course balanced on the rim of a 600-foot drop into beautiful Williams Canyon. Each participant will be placed in a full-body harness and securely attached using an overhead tracking system. Thrill-seekers of all ages can navigate a challenging maze of steel beams, swinging ropes and ladders. The truly brave at heart can try the extra challenge and climb out over the cliffs of Williams Canyon. Safe & fun for the whole family!

Available: March – September ONLY (weather permitting)
Restrictions: Please, no flip-flops, sandals without ankle straps, high-heel shoes, or any other type of shoe that can easily fall off your feet. Also you must be at least 48″ tall and weigh less than 300 lbs.

March 15 – March 31, 2013: Open 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. ( Open Spring Break)
April 5, 2013 – April 28, 2013: Open 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Open Wednesday – Sunday, closed Mondays & Tuesdays)
May 1, 2013 – May 25, 2013: Open 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Open Wednesday – Sunday, closed Mondays & Tuesdays)
May 26 – June 30, 2013: Open 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. (Daily)
July 1 – Sept. 1, 2013*: Open daily 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
(*Exceptions: Monday, Aug. 19 – Thursday, Aug. 22; Monday, Aug. 26 – Thursday, Aug. 29th: Open 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
Sept. 1 – Sept. 2, 2013: Open daily 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Labor Day, Sept. 2, 2013: Open 10:30 a.m. – 4 pm
Sept. 6 – Oct. 24, 2013: Open 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Open Wednesday – Sunday, closed Mondays & Tuesdays) (Weather-permitting)
Cave tours are given year-round. However, our outdoor attractions will CLOSE the third weekend in October, with the exception of groups of 15 or more, reserved in advance and weather permitting. Please call (719) 685-5444 ext. 5056 for reservations and special holiday hours.

Summertime in Colorado can be a bit unpredictable!

The common widsom is, “If you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes; it’ll change!” Occasionally due to impending weather or storms, it is necessary to close our outdoor attractions for everyone’s safety. Therefore, if you have purchased a ticket for our outdoor attractions and we feel it necessary to wait for the weather to clear, you may:

Wait it out
Receive a Rain Check from our ticket office, and come back with your receipt anytime later during the season to play on our outdoor attractions at no extra charge
Wait one hour and see if the attractions open
If not, after 60 minutes of delay, you can with your receipt receive a full refund for your outdoor ticket purchased
