Science, Exploration & Adventure

Cave of the Winds offers a wide variety of fun, age-appropriate field trips for school groups. Students will encounter history, cave geology, conservation education and the opportunity to revel at the underground beauty of caves.

We offer an age-appropriate Earth Sciences curriculum to support your field trip! The activities target specific benchmarks in the Colorado Model Content Standards for Science, emphasizing the key learning concepts studied in most Earth Science classes. This curriculum takes all the work out of your field trip experience — download lesson plans & student worksheets, our post-tour student evaluation sheet and the parental permission slip.
